CONSULTANCY SERVICES |
We pride ourselves in giving our clients an efficient and effective planning & development service.
Nearly twenty years of experience in planning applications, permissions and appeals has resulted in a deep understanding of negotiation dynamics and planning submissions, with the use of positive methods to present and communicate planning projects to local councils. Using well tested negotiation methods, we have turned many difficult and marginal schemes into planning successes.
We will look at your initial development proposal or your under-utilised land and/or buildings and undertake a planning feasibility assessment. Our work also includes adopting development strategies for each scheme, to maximise the chance of success of obtaining planning permission.
Initial planning advice on development projects, including proposed design changes, followed by presentations and negotiations with the Council concerned are conducted. Local consultations may occur. The scheme is positioned so that its strengths are highlighted, thus ensuring that it gets over the planning permission hurdle and heads towards the build stage as quickly as possible.
More recently, we have developed an integrated planning and sustainable development approach. As issues of CLIMATE CHANGE and SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT have arisen, it has become ever more crucial to ensure that every planning application is sound not only from the planning point of view but in terms of its sustainability. Thus, we have developed a set of SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES, which sit alongside our PLANNING CONSULTANCY SERVICES.
Our work can also include consultant coordination and development pipeline management of large property portfolios. If a scheme fails at planning stage, we progress planning appeals by written representations, informal hearing and public inquiry.
For some examples of our planning & development work please see the TRACK RECORD section of this website. PROJECT TYPES and CONSULTANCY SERVICES will also help to demonstrate our experience.
Whatever your situation, please view the contents of this web site to learn more about our planning led approach. Then, go to the CONTACTS section to communicate with us.
We look forward to hearing from you.

WHY ENABLING PROJECTS?
WORKING THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS
|
|
 |
| |
|
Quite simply, that is our function.
For many years we have enabled development projects. In identifying sites and creating schemes, in promoting and obtaining planning permissions, we enable homes and jobs, good building design and layout. For housing associations we enable affordable dwellings and for developers and landowners we have enabled added value.
We see ourselves as ENABLERS in a broad planning and development context - hence the company name.
The YOU ARE
. sections (see on navigation bar) explain how we can work with specific parties
and the DEVELOPMENT SITE ASSESSMENTS part of our web site sets out the opportunities that we are currently looking for.
|
|
We work in close partnership with clients, landowners, community groups and a wide range of parties with an interest in the UK planning process.
Planning applications are progressed with a spectrum of people and organisations, including developers, property investors, housing associations, retail and leisure operators, local authorities, landowners and community organisations.
We welcome discussions with any parties that may become involved in the planning permission process. The two sides of our business can advise you through the hurdles of the process and proactively take forward development proposals to support the redevelopment of your land and buildings. All this can best be achieved by applying our WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP APPROACH.
We do hope that you will CONTACT us to discuss the possibilities.
